Lead Times and Scheduling
Everything is made to the templated dimensions of your specific openings, so there is no stock to pull off a shelf. Here are the timescales we actually work to rather than the ones that sound best.
The standard domestic timeline
Survey usually within a week of enquiry. Written quotation within one working day of survey. On acceptance, manufacture runs three to four weeks. Installation is then scheduled at your convenience, typically within a week of the units arriving. Enquiry to finished job is commonly five to six weeks.
- Survey: within a week
- Quotation: one working day
- Manufacture: 3–4 weeks
- Install: booked to suit you
What makes an order slower
Bespoke RAL colours add roughly a week. Curved and arched heads need an additional templating stage. Very large panels and specialist acoustic laminates can extend the glass lead time. Listed-building consent, where formally required, is determined by the local authority's timetable and is the one element we cannot compress.
Seasonal pressure
October and November are our busiest domestic months, because that is when people first feel the cold. Booking in late summer for autumn installation avoids the queue. Education and student-let work concentrates into July and August and those slots are typically committed by spring.
Commercial programmes
Phased commercial work is programmed against your operational calendar rather than ours — night shifts, weekend floors, closure weeks. Bring us in at planning stage and the sequencing costs you nothing.
Frequently asked questions
Manufacture is the fixed constraint and we will not shorten it by cutting quality checks. Where a date genuinely matters, tell us at enquiry and we will be straight about whether it is achievable.
